We Live Online

Right on! Yet another blog. Was this really necessary? I think so. If not for you, well then for me. I’ve been around the net for quite some time now, starting with my first website back in 1998 (!). A lot of things have changes since then and so have I. A grew older, grew more interested in technology stuff and here we are.

This blog is all about technology. The technology encounter daily and keeps me busy, the one that keeps me staying longer in front of the computer than might be good for me. The technology that drives me to learn more and more and more.

One of this technologies is, well, the web. And with the blogosphere, all its content generation, networking, and, not to forget: money making. Now this blog is not about money, but still it relates to it. How? Well, one intention for this blog for me was the urge to understand how people can actually live from their blogging. Not that I intend to live from my blogging. I think I should have picked another domain (e.g. money) otherwise.

Also, I’d like to understand how easy (or hard) it is to generate real traffic. And here I mean traffic generation with authentic content which is not just copy-n-pasted from wikipedia, but hands-on-experience.

And finally, this blog is a brain dump. No, better than that. It is a kind of an personal knowledge base. Don’t you also do things over and over again? But than again to infrequent to remember all the tiny important tweaks. So I hope this will help.
